Selecting the right genre & sub genre is one of the most important things to do on Winamp. After uploading your track, you will come to the edit mode where you must enter genre & sub genre related to the track.

You need to do this separately for every Track however you’ll be assisted by Winamp by means of a drop down menu.

Please note that certain genres suggested by Winamp in the dropdown menu, such as classical music, are not eligible for distribution. It is not recommended to distribute these tracks, as they will be rejected by the moderation team.
